They took $1.95 out of our account and said we said yes. I told them to cancel immediately. Lady on phone, Jamie, was very nasty to me and told me she could charge me the whole cost.

Updated by user Aug 04, 2019

I asked for a full refund and was told there was no way that it was possible. Kept telling me we said yes three times.

That is not true. I heard my husband tell the person he was talking to "no, I don't want all that stuff, just send me the product".

Very unbusinesslike attitude. Scam!

The original person did not speak clear English and my husband had trouble understanding him. I definitely heard him tell that person several times he did not want the service they were trying to sell. Charged credit card anyway.

Taken Advantage of Mentally Disabled Veteran

My brother is a mentally disabled Veteran residing in a VA Home. We got him a cell phone so that he can communicate with family. Somehow these scammers got his number, called him, and whatever it was they told him, he fell for it and gave them the number of a very low-dollar balance reloadable debit card I set up for him. They first grabbed $1.95, presumably as a test to see if the account was valid... then a few weeks later stuck him for $39.95. He is not aware of ever receiving anything, and doesn't even know what if anything this is. This is unconscionable! These people should be ashamed of themselves for preying on poor souls. I am closing his account and possibly changing his phone number because of this.

United Benefit Service Gift Card Review

I was told i would be getting a gift card instead i got a gift rebate. Buy $100 a month for 10 months and only get $10 a month back. They also want the purchases to be purchased with a major credit card. This is a scam. Very disappointed. There is a differnce between a gift card and a gift rebate.

Customer Service and receptions and others placing you on hold then hanging up.

On 05/25/2015 at approximately 5:12pm, I called 186*-558-****, receptionist answered phone placed me on hold. Receptionist returned to line, stated that someone (he would be right with you).

Then someone pickup I guess and hung up the line. I called back to let her and him have but I got the answering service with the same loud woman who initially answered the phone. Who does this on a company line. If she ever answer the line again when I call where I pay my money, I will let her have it then ask for her supervisor.

I did not appreciate this incident, it was so unnecessary.

What are you all running. Whomever was in the office at this time know who hung up!

Call you credit card company and tell them to block any incoming charges from them or set up so you need to approve every transaction

Cancel your account. Get a new account number.

explain what happened. And whatever cell phone/and or number. Not 800 numbers. Take and go to your local police department and tell them what they did to you.

Give them the cell number the *** contacted you on. Let them trace it and get the guy behind that number for theft and fraud.

United Benefit Service Plan Review

This is nothing more than a big scam. They will take your money and tell you that you have 30 days to review the plan, but they never send you a plan to review. So its fraud, I hope you spread the word as much as possible, do not sign anything and do not give them your information.

Offer for $100 rebate rediculous

the offer of $100 rebate sounded ok. But I wasn't told you have to pick one of a dozen companies, and spend $100 at the company each month for 10 months in order to get $10 back per month. OUTRAGEOUS!!! And that doesn't include the 10 times you have to send them your receipt and a stamped self addressed envelope. TOO MUCH!!!! This was an offer over the phone. In other words they made an offer but didn't tell you the "fine print." To me this is absolute fraud. I am now receiving Glamour Magazine that i have zero interest in.

United value benefit health

after reviewing health plans on obama care, I was called by a "registered licensed health insurance broker". This broker connected me to a salesman who gave me a deal I couldn't refuse, health insurance for my family of 3, 0 deductible and $15 copay, all for $390 a month, They attempted to have me pay on my credit card prior to reading any literature, I insisted on reviewing them first. Good thing I did, they are scammers, liars and full of S+"***. Hope you read this before giving your credit card, So much for secure web sites, its Just as secure as obamas retoric

Today I got a call from these people.. Something about them did not sound right, but because I knew nothing about Health insurance or finding the right coverage I continued to listen to them.

I was asked for my card number, but I didn't give it to them. I did give them my social security number.

Can anyone tell me what I need to do now to protect my identity?? When I asked him his name all he would tell me is Matt.
